The nationwide festive migration from the federal capital reached a major milestone on Thursday as over one million citizens departed the Kathmandu Valley for their home districts to celebrate Bada Dashain. The Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office has mobilized round-the-clock rapid response vehicular squads and mechanical breakdown units along primary arterial exits including Nagdhunga, Sanga, Pharping, and Mudkhu.
