821 industries closed in Madhesh Province last fiscal year

9 Bhadra, Janakpurdham. Due to the slowdown in economic activity in Madhesh Province, the number of industries and businesses closing has increased. In the last fiscal year 2082/83, the registration of 1,938 industries and businesses has been closed across the province. According to the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, 821 industries and 1,117 commercial firms have been closed. The ministry has stated that the registration of industries and businesses that have not been in operation for a long time and have been closed for various reasons has been closed. However, the number of new industries being established during this period is continuing. In the last fiscal year, 5,068 new industries have been registered in Madhesh Province.
