Landslides and mudslides after rain cause damage in Falelung, Phidim to Falout road blocked
Panchthar, Phalelung Rural Municipality-7 Sidin area of Panchthar has been affected by landslides and mudslides after the rain. The landslide from above the road has disrupted traffic at various places on the Phidim to Phalout road section, while the mudslides have also damaged cardamom and food crops planted by local farmers.
The landslide occurred on Friday evening on the Phidim to Phalout road section connecting Prangwung from Akashe in Phalelung Rural Municipality-8 via Bihidin, Wasbote and Ogembo in Ward No. 7. Locals have said that there is a problem in traffic operation as the landslide from the upper part of the road has piled up stones, stones and mud on the road.
