Earthquake victims of Jajarkot hope for permanent homes from tents

The process of constructing permanent housing has finally begun for citizens left homeless following the devastating earthquake that struck on Kartik 17, 2079 BS (November 3, 2022), with its epicenter in Ramidanda, Jajarkot. Among the earthquake victims across 14 local levels in Jajarkot, Rukum West, and Salyan—who had been living in temporary shelters for a long period—the work of reconstructing permanent homes has commenced in Jajarkot’s Bheri Municipality.
